Obra Dreaming in Cuban (1992) - Saga familiar hilada a través de los distintos componentes de una familia cubana en distintas épocas (sin orden cronológico) en Cuba y Estados Unidos, y de las cartas de Celia entre 1935 y 1958 a su primer amante Gustavo (2nd person, intimate, confessing). Personajes: - Celia: matriarca, Revolución Cubana better for women, 3rd person with focalization on her. 1972: Jorge del Pino´s death, present tense with flashbacks.
